I got the same letter and was told that they got the encrypted S.S #
and the actual last 4 digits but not in the correct sequence.
They aso got your name and date of birth.

I have closed both my betting and data accounts and requested they remove my personal information.
As far as I'm concerned, If they let this occur, they cannot be trusted any longer.

Bill,

As info, they have the same personal information on the brisnet side since they own that as well. So, if you still use their data files, they still have your information in a database.

Angry hey guys

Called bris wanted to cancel offered experian. But ask if close account would you destroy personel data they said no but will mark as dormant. So can't be used. Like bris ethier way they and crooks got ya thinking no difference what you do.
The thing have a probelm with you have to give experian all stuff twinspires had protected ssn#the whole thing not just last for digits date of birth and email address all stuff they say to never give out.Which means for sure some one got all your personal data that to me could make things even worse

Not to put too fine a point on it, but for those who are able, maybe it's time to consider a better ADW.

Aside from free BRIS PPs, and accessibilty from most states, what's the attraction of TwinSpires anyway?

Just asking ...

Ted

Wink Just Call me for desert....

This is my first attempt at a post... Your recent episode of hacking kindof
got my attention. I got up on the Bris site last week, and downloaded r or 5 programs, just to look at them as see if there was anything I could use.

These were old 90's programs, nothing to worry about thought I....
I like slipping in and taking a look from time to time.

WoW, did I get nailed. My Internet Explorer browser suddenly changed
into one of my Excel handicapping files...

Using the Microsoft "Doc fix it", I got rid of my problem ActiveX files, and my computer not only sped up, but all the colors and fonts are vivid now....

I will swear by that "Doc fix it" thingy...
