Lost in dilution

We constantly hear, in our sports sections, the bemoaning of the rapid expansion of the NHL and the dilution of the talent pool. The same thing is now becoming a factor in the Breeder's Cup, particularly with the WIN and you're in idea. The concept of the best coming up against the best is beginning to get lost in the shuffle and having it over two days is just outright greed (seems to be the consensus I hear in the press room).

It is a positive that the track surface was repaired and seem to reflect the early nature that Anita always was. Having the races in a warm weather climate is really a knock against the European horses as many come over already sporting a winter coat. I cam recall an Arc winner was in distress in the heat and humidity of Florida one year after his race there all lathered up

People also don't realize what a bum deal the simulcast outlets receive in the betting pools
