OP #1 3/15/14 Post time 1:05CDT - Pace and Cap

Going back to my favorite track. This is a 5K claimer N2Y. There seems to be some matching earlies. Beware the aides of March!

This race has a fair number of early horses. I am going to use the tandem race at 21.4 as the pace although I don't think it will go faster than a 22.0. I think it will be run OTE. My contenders are:

3: Ran OTE two back but is an early horse.
6: Long L/O working well and has won OTE. Won initial maiden race at bottom of PP's which qualifies as winning off a long layoff.
7:Held position at first two calls in Tandem. All three races where he didn't get the lead, held position and passed horses from starting position.
12: Very sustained. May not be able to handle pace.

The 3 is basically early and is out. The 6 may be beat me. I am going t take that chance. I think the 12 is basically slow. My choice is the 7 in an OTE effort.
