Breeders' Cup Picks - Sat

Okay, I know this is foolish and I can end up embarrassing myself, but here are my picks for today's 9 Breeders' Cup races. My bets will be based on the tote board. Usually I'll hedge-bet two contenders with more generous odds and then play those under a low-odds, legitimate favorite or two in an exacta. My rolling doubles usually start with a contentious race, betting multiple, higher-odds contenders followed by a chalky second leg. That way I can better judge the odds and the payoffs and I have a better chance of hitting the bet. So, here goes. I have my "A" and "B" contenders separated with a slash (/).

R3- 13,1 / 5,14
R4- 5,12,9,11
R5- 10,1,7
R6- 6,3,1,10 / 9,12
R7- 5,9,2
R8- 5 / 6,7,8,10,14 (I think this is the toughest race on the card)
R9- 11,2 / 7,9,5
R10- 2 / 12,1,7
R11- 14,7 / 11,6,3

Here's what I got for the Classic:

Win: 14-1-7
Exacta: 14-1-7 / 14-1-7-11

The rest of the horses in the Secondary group can finish 3rd or 4th

Subject to revision when tote prices are available.

Good luck everyone!

Best of luck Mick and everyone else!

For me, I am looking at a couple you also picked out, in the 9th... #7 and #11 if he goes off 3-1 or more. In the 10th, interested in the 10.

My betting could have been better but not my contender selections - 9 for 9. That was fun. Let's do this every Saturday.

Nicely done Mick in the Contender department. As long as you can eke out enough profit to keep the Maker's taps open

Jon, I hope you can wait a while longer, hopefully not too long. The RDSS edition which includes that new screen is suffering from too many tote-related problems and stability issues (prone to crashing). I prefer to release it more widely when more of the bugs are worked out (and I don't have to answer so many tech support questions about its foibles ). Forgive me if I tend to use Rx+ by default when I post screenshots; I guess I could just show the Rx or BL/BL screens instead.

I hope you understand Jon. I'll get it to you as soon as I can.

Ted
