These things always come at the most inopportune times Mike. There never is a right time. The operative word here is 'early stage'. You've got the best doctors at one of the best hospitals, an early diagnosis, and a whole community of friends praying for her. The success rate for breast cancer is increasing by leaps and bounds every year.
Try to treat this as a pesky piece of business that needs to be dealt with so you can get on with the rest of your lives. And above all keep upbeat and positive.

I say this as a breast cancer survivor of thirteen years.
It goes without saying that you both have all the healing vibes I can muster and all my prayers. I have Sylvia's smiling face from Saratoga before me.
Give her a big hug from me.
Barb

THANK YOU all for your support!!!

It is not getting any easier....the surgeon asked for another biopsy on a different area.
If this is positive then its a complete removal instead of a minor surgery..
We're going back tomorrow for the test..
She is not strong for this..I am trying to be for both of us , but its difficult

Mariana , I think we need to contact ALL the Saints for this one...

Best place to be

Hi Mike,

Sorry to hear this sad news - my best to you and your wife during this difficult time. I've spent many hours with friends and relatives at SK over the years and always been impressed by the solicitude and quality of care they provide.

Best,

B Jennet
