Thank you everyone for all your kind words of support and love for Barb! She is recovering steadily, though still in the hospital. She has begun her physiotherapy and set of exercises to gradually put more weight on the new hip joint. She tells me she expects to be discharged sometime today and head home.

(She also says she feels too drugged to type properly, otherwise I'm sure she'd regale you herself with her stories! Though strangely, not too drugged to still participate in the Remington Park Survivor handicapping contest ...)

Get well soon Mum!

Ted

Barb..

Get well soon and get back “on the Saddle.”

From your last hospital stay, your insistence on getting wi-fi in your hospital room and now your determined tenacity to continue your participation in the handicapping competition even while drugged with meds..

The dancing show” DWTS” awaits your entry with your new hips!!

Thank you all for your healing vibes and well wishes. As Ted said, I came home Sunday and am doing very well, so my two neighbours tell me. I don't see it when I look in the mirror , but these two angels assure me that I am. One of them looks in on me every couple of hours. Am I lucky or not?

I know I don't have a hope in Remington because I forgot to enter until about an hour before it closed on Labour day. I just wanted to see how far I could go. I've stayed out of the barn so far and have built up my bank role to $148. I figure that's not too bad for an old broad.
