Bill Varone

Not only was yesterday BC day, it was also Bill Varone’s 64th birthday. I have been thinking a lot about him this weekend.

A tremendous man Charlie, Bill thought about others more than himself. An interesting
man, that also was blessed with many other fine qualities.

I miss Bill too - he was a good friend. He made a strong and worthy contribution to Doc Sartin's work mainly in the years following Doc's active period - the 'resurrection' period of the Sartin Methodology. I agree he was a most generous man.

This is from his birthday when we were at the 2017 Del Mar Breeders' Cup. With his own style of 'hat'.

Spent many a race day with him at the Meadowlands when he shared a table with Richie and Mark (RIP).
