About VDC

Would it be correct to say that not everyone gets the same VDC horses?
Or, gets the same VDC horses in the same order?

Would it be correct to say that the horses entered and the lines used for those horses determine VDC?

Hypothetically speaking, would it be correct to say that if ten people were handicapping the same race, all of them could end up with different VDC horses? Is that possible?

VDC selections

Yes to all three questions.

Pace line selection determines the outcome of everthing.

so close

Hi FTL

The VDC readout is so tight many times calling the top 3 is
very much just a call each of us must make.
Here is an example of a very tight grouping

This is todays Del Mar Race 7

The VDC rankings and read outs are very close
All 5 or here 6 of my contenders / horses in top 5 total energy and priary line score
are within 1.9 of the two 0.0 top VDC
horses

I break this senerio by the 3F + total Pace position of the horses
in panel 3 only because I cant go by the near post time odds

The bottom line is: VDC is determined by the individuals paceline judgement call. In some races the best of last 3 are very clear other races not so.
Thus if a person reports a 52% ROI on the top 3 or 4 VDC that is only for THAT PERSON. Hence you can never treat top VDC wagering as a "Black Box".
