SA Race 10

It looks like the weather will be O.K. so we're going with a flat mile on the turf in the 10th at Santa Anita. It's a stake race for Cal bred F&M.

Post time is 9:29 PM EDT.

Will be absent most of the weekend so I am going to jump in early. I also see this race running early. The 6 should be able to put the 2 away for the lead and win. If not, I will also bet the 5 at a price to come late.

5 & 6 for the win.

Hill Sprinters

SA race 10 100,000 state breds F-M 8 furlongs turf

H1 Sus Good CR but it was earned
on a hill turf stakes, Race 8 is a plus line but a little to heavy late

H2. Hill races only form unknown
Energy is too much toward early

H3. Presser but no turf form. Line 1 fits energy but turf ability is unknown

H4 Sus. No turf route form. Projected energy is good

H5 Sus Presser Contender only knock is no stakes experience.

H6 Early. Energy is good. Will the hill sprinters hurt her ?

H7 Early Presser. Hill form only. Energy is okay. Stakes winner

H8 Sus Lots of back class. Recent form is bad but workouts are great

Too many question marks , This looks like a race with some value but I am able to pass so I will

Good Skill to everybody

There are no scratches and the turf is firm.

I'm going OTE in this field. I see the 6 getting the lead in something around 23.0 and she will be pressed by the 2. I think it might go 22.3. I think it will go OTE. These two are OUT. The others:

7: Presser. This race will be won by a sustained horse.
5: Too slow. OUT.
4: Looks too deep to me.

This leaves the 1,3,8.

The 3 looks like a presser type base on the mile race on the dirt two back. In her lone try on the turf, she was not ITM. OUT.

Between the 1 and the 8, the 1 looks more like a sustained horse than the 8.

The 1 is my choice to win the race.

I see the 2 and 6 fighting it it early, but neither lasting. Of the OTE runners I prefer the 1 and 3. They both look like they can handle a fast pace and finish well. For the contest I will bet them both, 1, 3.

Projected 46&/110& from two Earlies 2 and 6. Only three qualifying OTE’s have been successful against that pace 3,5,8. 3 has no turf experience. I will go 5,8.

5,8
