IMO, this occurence was a relatively small blip on the excellent record of Trackmaster, but I wanted to applaud you for the way you handled it.........and kudoos to TM for admitting the error, and fixing it immediately.

This I can help with. Those missing lines are because Suffolk does NOT time their splits on the turf. Can you imagine that in todays racing.

The Tampa 5f turf line shown in 2nd shot the horse pulled up and dnf.

These examples aren't on TM end for clarity

Both those horses' have missing internal running times, thus no adjusted calcs can be made for those lines. Happens regularly on SUF Turf. Is that it?

Forwarded to TrackMaster. Perhaps this file was already published BEFORE the new QC scan went into effect (i.e. before Tuesday AM?). I'll check.

Thanks!

Grrr This BEL June 3 file was published Monday morning, BEFORE they corrected the 8 (of 1 million) missing SR/ITVs. They did not scan cards (looking for any use of those missing 8 items) which were already published (woulda been a good idea...), only new cards going forward (i.e. published AFTER their new scan, sometime yesterday).

In response to this, TrackMaster just finished regenerating ALL cards dated today and forward, applying their scan check.

This was what I gues you'd call a a 'timing issue', i.e. related to when new procedures went into effect. Let's see if they got it right, finally...

Charles, here's what that horse looks like now, after the file was redone (if you re-download and re-convert to check this, don't forget to remove the check from the 'Don't Duplicate Tasks' box)

Thanks Ted. If the line were necessary for re-evaluation, I'd do it again. But I chose another line for my purposes anyway.

I'm sure this must be very frustrating for you.

I'm philosophical... As Doc might say, 'data perfection': a consummation devoutly to be desired (as in, 'in a pig's eye').

I think TrackMaster is rather surprised at the 'neighbourhood watch' we've got going on here on their data. It's like you can't get away with anything anymore...
