Sir Zan, you are the Champ!
Good decision. I'm usually less concerned with how people do it, and more in the fact that they (you) did it. The rest of us have a story about this years Derby; you have a winning ticket.
Congratulations, Chris |

How I did it
My reason was: The horse ranked 3rd in the class bar as two year old...that it's self is a strong indication because: To be a shipper and to rank 3rd in the class bar among 20 horse field ... that it's self tells me a lot (Back Class as 2 yr old) + the horse showed early speed in his last race and his problem was that he runs wide.... every time he runs wide he loses the race or he wins it with a low speed figure. From the last race he ran which was 2nd race as 3 yr old and was 2nd race after a Lay off .. the horse showed tremendous speed up front and he blew it when he went wide ... the horse ranked 1st on the first call & 1st on the second call then he lost with lot lengths as he went wide ... So I figured he could be there if someone knew how to save that horse and use his energy wisely ... I figured that Calvin Borel could stock the pace with him and the horse will still have some stamina left in him and to pull the upset here. So I took the chance with him....
Ps .....I did win the 1$ Pick 3 with "Mine That Bird" it paid me $1379.50 after taxes. Will post the wining ticket shortly. Lee Last edited by Ted Craven; 05-03-2009 at 05:28 PM. |
