My screen for the 4th race. The 11 quit when he did not have the lead but I had the tri in the mix.

Just like Doc would have drawn it up. Ran 7-3. Bill and family looked happy in the winner's circle. Of course, I bet they cashed that race good. Congrats to them and Happy Birthday!

It's what I could catch on the way by. Maybe something more on the full replay.

Your parents look SO HAPPY! And who wouldn't - surrounded by family, in such a beautiful and memorable setting. And Winners at the betting windows too!

Almost makes returning to California bearable

Very best wishes to all the Varones, on both coasts!

Ted

Bill V.,

Happy belated 80th Birthday to your dear Mom!!

Those are great family pictures and a great moment for the Varone family.

On a side note, can you imagine a novice handicapper hanging out at the Del Mar satellite facility who happens to bump into Bill V. who drops by after work to place some wagers in his work uniform. The novice, by sheer chance, starts out a conversation with our "presumed" security personnel of the satellite facility and asks Bill V., "Who do you like in this handicap race?"

Can you imagine the "Shock and Awe" of the novice handicapper who stumbles into a wealth of pace analysis information and handicapping prowess stemming from the Sartin Methodology from Bill V. a.k.a. "security personnel".

Great day, Bill V.!!!!!

I am always at Del Mar

But if I went to the window in my uni I would be a EX security guard

That is a big NO NO

I will miss the race book They can not be open when live racing is on across the parking lot. I will be in the stands till Sept
Can't go to opening day .. Been there done that ! Its fun but too crowded
