Doesn't matter
Binder,
There are a handful of folks here with the guts to consistently post opinions, readouts and selections before the race. Partsnut Charlie Alydar Binder Richie Fast Shoe I lost every one of those races. So what. I was out some cash. Like I said I will NOT comment about the rest of the card because I did not post it beforehand. I study my own mistakes and certainly have found some on that card. That is how I was taught by Doc. Ciao CN |

race courses have a "flow" (degree of speed bias or not) that is not apparent until many of the races have run. By keeping a record of the e/l projected (by record keeping) and e/l as recorded for each race TODAY, one does not KNOW until the day of the race, and after scratches, how to play the race. This is not different than many other areas in sports: football baseball etc.
I don't make wagering decisions until just before the race runs so it is a tad hard to discuss them the night before here..LOGIC IS LOGIC without a temporal side. If folks have a different point of view, great. That's why they run these

what really
Hello Mr Napolitanowhat really makes my day is how he comes and goes but always as a new name
This is one heck of a great group of handicappers Partsnut Charlie Alydar Binder Richie Fast Shoe I have seen them all pick winners and have sat with almost all of them and seen their skill. I bet if we ask each of them to post their readouts before this race , We all are tearing up tickets But Mr Kotter Tompkins.... He is painting the board red |

believe what you want...If you sat next to me, you would see I wager the way I described. The only verification I require is the odds board. Logic doesn't change. I could POST lots of losers too, but consistently post about e/l winners

I was under the impression that personality differences wouldn't be discussed. Differences in the way people do things is just that different, and not a reason to start calling people names is it?

I have written many many times that in SPRINTS one does not limit themselves to the same range as routes...I always look at the top 8.
I went over this before as it has to do with a horse "rounding into form," getting an increasingly positive e/l and the rider does not persist with the mount in it's last start....It is looking for a trend. The horse in question, the 2 shows many many front running efforts (lines 2,3,4 and further back in turf sprints) and a recent LONGER turf run where it had improved it's stamina substantially. It came off a layoff and showed good speed before the stamina turf "work out." Everything about this horse says IMPROVEMENT, and FRONT RUNNER ......Using that as a background, it is a projection that this one would improve off that layoff good effort and the e/l substantiated it.

the "key" to the race (I bet one and two) is on this screen: top two at the second call and not much to catch them. Wary of GP lines as being too fast

Chip,
We all have our bad days. I had one just like you either last Sat. or Monday. Missed five. Kept jumping in and just kept missing. And I think it was at Tampa Bay. I was ready to go burn the track down. Each time I was sure I couldn't miss another one. But I did. You just have to suck it up and come back positive. You do it right and you come back and Win. Last night I ran out of gas. Got tired and couldn't focus so I laid off. I had worked the 8th and 10th at Evangeline but sat it out. Mistake, I had the winner and exacta dead on in the 8th. My four horse BL in the 10th was the Superfecta but I'm not sure how I would have placed them. We'll come back better today. I have a meeting late this afternoon with a client, possibly over dinner. He needs a PowerPoint Presentation. After that it's time for some fun. Remember, this is supposed to be fun. We'll make some money today. I like it when Fast posts up and Richie and Dave work the race. You can pretty much just bring that money to the bank. Just tell them how much. Charlie |
