If you don't like to speak negatively about the departed, why do you? Might any perceived alcohol problem have been independent of any other characteristic, or do you feel that anyone with patience must be a drunk?

Sorry Dick, I misread the post, I thought it said non patience. I stand corrected.

No problem I have no desire to start a battle. I just grew up around a whole bunch of little old Baptist and Methodist little old ladies, who always prefaced their most vicious, salacious gossip with the phrase, I don't like to speak ill of (whatever group fits). Its one of those things that sets me off.
