Richie,Thanks coming from you it's a real compliment and your friend as well.Actually that part of my game I do believe in,it's applying the info once I get it into the computer that's my big stumbling block.That's the reason for me always changing programs,I always think there will be a program that will make it easier for me to do this.But in actuality there isnt,it's something that I need focus on.I love you too.Jeff

Parts,Why did you use the Pimlico line for NO 3 instead of his last CT race?Dont you think that last race at CT is more indicitive of what she will do today?Jeff

I use a method used by "Randy Giles", who wrote "Pace Appraiser",
I used the last line for every horse in the race. Then I formulated a speed range and then using the last 3 lines of each of the remaining contenders that fell into this speed range, determined which horses were competitive.
The date of the line is not significant, I believe it merely points to a horses true ability.

Parts,Even though he did put his name on that software it still requires you to use what you have upstairs as well.I believe he is right, people get so wrapped up in the numbers aspect they forget there are other things to look at in a race besides the readouts

Jeff, this holds true with any software you use with the exception of a "black box programs". I believe "Brohammers" statement was made at a time
when computers and software were not up to todays standards.
I believe that the computer sees a lot more then most people would have the ability to see and that you need to have the the brain power to correctly interpret and correlate the computers read-outs and a minimum of computer skill to operate the programs.
I am still of the opinion that the original statement that you posted was
contradictory. I believe and will openly state, and this comes from years of experience with some of these people and that most of the personalities that this site glorifies and diefies were and are in the game strictly for the money.

I'm not wet behind the ears and of course there was a business being operated.

To be totally HONEST if this was my site it would be run as a business also. I could care less what anyone thinks. You provide a service for folks that consumes a LOT of your time and they benefit from it - THEY PAY.

I have a PERSONAL relationship with ONE person from the "old days" in Pirco.

Jim Bradshaw. He has done nothing but GIVE of himself and his knowledge in teaching me some of his methods. He goes as far as to call me and spend HIS money on calls when there is an important lesson he wants to show me regarding the matchup. He could give a **** about making money from software sales ( his own btw).

He BETS his money to make money. I have seen him work a live card that ran the following day. He worked 8 races in LESS than 15 minutes. gave me ONE horse a race and the next day 7 of the 8 horses won man. the scariest ****ing thing I have ever seen in my life regarding horse racing. This coming from a man in his 70's.

Ritchie, I think you have an understanding as to what I was saying.
You have been a good friend and a great contributor to this site.
I would never be offended by your opinion.

I would never speak poorly of Jimmy "The Hat" Bradshaw
I have spoken to him on a few occasions when I was living in Las Vegas.
He is the consumate gentleman and was always willing to help.

I do agree that there is no free lunch and everyone is entitled to make a buck.
I can relate to you personally,some experiences I had with the Sartin Group. And to put it mildly, I wasn't too pleased.
I was also a client of theirs.
As I remember, you had to buy all the prior software editions in order to get the most current ones and additionally the follow-ups. That was very constructive marketing with the guise of "education". That's right - jam it down their throats and make them go for the whole ball of wax. This was their practice and I totally disagreed with them.
I am not saying the product is bad because I still use it. It was just the way they did things. The ambiguity of the follow-ups and the out of context and after the fact races at the seminars were another issue.

I've learned more at this site then all the prior input from the seminars and follow-ups combined.
I thank all responsible for this site and the unselfishness of the administrator.
