Track Profile ESP

The ESP I put in this column is a visual ESP by running positions. This is not a computer generated ESP like in the Energy Generator. From the %MED they seem to be in agreement.

Hollywood Profile

I would not try to compare this profile with a profile you run through the Energy Generator or if you run it through Selector. I used 10 feet for a beaten length for all calls of the race. I did check the Med% with the PHASE III portion of Synergism II. They are nearly identical. I used the calculations that Tom Brohamer gave out in MPH and adopted them to an Excel spreadsheet. I am not a computer programmer, and I just use this to get a quick idea on how a track may be playing. These are raw and not adjusted in any way. Also I entered times in hundreth's just as shown in the PDF charts from BRISNET.

This should not take precedence over your Brohamer Model if you are making one. Really the only thing I did was use Tom Brohamer's examples on how to make a track profile and just added some things.

Hollywood Profile in Fifths

Here is the profile in fifths instead of hundreths. Still have to convert to tenths so when the chart shows 22.1 I put 22.2 in the worksheet. Now when putting this in fifths %Median is identical to the PHASEIII readouts. I do not mean to go on like this, but I thought some may find a tool like this useful.

Now it's time to work this race.

Thumbs up Houndog is En Fuego

"Dog",
I just want to say thank you for all you do here ok?

You give of yourself all over the joint man. Whether it's stuff you do away from the lights here or all the contributions and tools you have provided for us here it's ALL thorough.

I have taken from you a closer attention to details as far as record keeping.

Anyway didn't want to take this " off thread" too much but HAD to speak up and say thank you. I mean that.

Richie

Hollywood Race 8

Interesting set of characters we have here. Initial impressions and visual ESP.

#1 I’ve Decided E Probable Favorite, layoff, shipper from TUP, 9 year old . Usual state of affairs for CLM 8000 at Hollywood.

#2 Johnny Ice E/P His one win this year was a MC25000 event. Only 4 years old and already dropping to the bottom of the barrel.

#3 Bewitching Bartok S/P Second race back is not too bad. Has a lot of bad races in his PP’s also. Consistency is not his game, though we have a lot like this at this level.

#4 Flying General S or NF Laid off since Oct 05. If you use the way back machine the race of Mar05 is good. Trainer Bean will never be mistaken for Mike Mitchell. I have to pass on this guy.

#5 Lakeside Trail S or NF Did show decent speed 3 back, but that was with Pat V. Freddy Fong rides today. Horse has not won in 2 years.

#6 Vitali S/P If you go 2 back the horse looks fine. I want to be careful with this horse though. Has not won yet as a 4 year old. I know this is a pace methodology but trainer Silverio Martinez is 0 for 63 in 2006.

#7 Sabalucious P Don’t know what happened in last race but the others look good.

#8 Double Matrix E/P If you use the TP lines in Energy you are going to have to make an adjustment. Just don’t know.

#9 Feature Story S NF No wins in 2 years

#10 Ready To Flirt S Likes to come late

#11 Tronare S I just don’t think he is anything but an S in a dirt race. He showed speed on the turf way back in 2004. Last win was 2004. Trainer is 1/48 for 2006.

Energy Screen 1

This is a tough race. Anyhow here it goes. I eliminated #1 I've Decided because I've decided he does not get the lead today. We shall see.

Hollywood Picks

My win contenders will be #3 Bewitching Bartok and #7 Sabalucious.

I will consider using these with #10 Ready To Flirt and maybe #6 Vitali in Exotics.
