Funny, but there is a Big Brown special on right now on HPI TV and this one was just about always on the far outside EXCEPT at Belmont and we all know what happened there, and to a small extent in Baltimore (he tried to get out on the first turn at the Preakness when running INSIDE of horses). This one had an enormous Achilles heel and a careful review of his races exposes it.

I think it was in post twelve of this thread that you said "Total energy down and % median up versus the same relative pace three races in a row, NEVER wins and is often off the board at short odds." Needless to say, your comment is one that deserves a lot of serious attention because being able to toss out "short odds" horses with a high degree of success is a giant step towards profits. I'm one of the less knowledgeable to visit this site but I'm pretty sure I've run across at least 2 and, perhaps, 3 "Total Energy" definitions connected with the Sartin Methodology. Could you please define the "total energy" you refer to above and share how it's calculated? Could you also please define what you mean by "the same relative pace"? Thank you. |
