Scratch #10
#2 is an open lengths Need to Lead Early who will be softened up by the #5 who will fight for the lead against any pace, but always faster than anything the #2 can handle, and can win a route versus 23.5 47.0 Thus the #2 is toast. Mix this with the other OTEs #7 and #4 - who closes closer to the faster pace? #7 Thus -- #5 and #7

The complexion of this race is getting kind of screwed up with the scratches. Originally my contenders were 6,7,10 with 10,7 as choice. 10 is now out so my 6 draws in. I will go 7,6.

CBY Race 9
2 leads will 5 rate or challenge for lead early, tiring him and the 2. at 6 fur it’s the 2-5- 7 is this track was not so speed favoring I’d say 7 wins. But will pick the 2 or 5,staying with pace setters. Tough race, best of luck. |

Cby #9
The scratches leave the 2 as the main early while the 5 can be early or presser.
I don't think they will destroy each other so I will take both 2 and 5 to win.... |

Yeah too bad we don't pay off for place. There have been a few times for cigar and gandalf too where we wished we could have cashed for place. But c'est la vie. It looks like Pat C. and Bill V. were the winners this week at an even $5.00. With the late scratch of the 10 Bill in effect singled it. Pook |
