a radical proposal
As one who usually goes against the grain making decisions on what the I FIND rather than listening to the crowd, I propose (from limited experience) that POLYTRACK is NOT going to do anything to bias except set up characteristic biases at the courses JUST THE WAY the old dirt courses did or continue to do. SO FAR, Keeneland has completley changed, but folks forget that not only was the surface changed, but the LAYOUT of the course and it some of the gradients in the old course were flattened.
Woodbine has not radically changed. In the big feature today the top two e/l horses ran 1 -3 just the same way as the course has always run. SO FAR, Polytrack is simply making each course distinct just like the dirt does. 4th race - Woodbine - October 14, 2006 Pgm Horse Win Place Show 3 Barracuda Boy 10.40 5.60 8.30 2 Sextet 13.60 18.00 4 Pellegrino (BRZ) 11.00
