option to consider

Speculator has limits on the distances allowed in using it. For years, I have not even been able to LOOK at races (Fort Erie has many a strange two furlong affair) at some distances. Never even having the option to run them through the program, I have no data even to begin to understand them with any objective evidence.

Closing day at Fort Erie they run a two miler called the Tour de Fort. The program will not accept 16.0 furlongs. For fun, I used the F10 option and changed it to 10.0 furlongs and the silly thing worked. RIGHT THERE all along!! When you find those distances that the program will not accept, simply change them to one that will. Since you are altering them all the same way, not changing a sprint to a route or anything, they will RELATIVELY be the same for evalutation.

I am sure that many of you have found this already, but to the silly people like me without such an handy epiphany, there is an option available. I am laughing out loud about how many times I missed this.
