To start it off , I would say I am doing will with the faster poly, and the software works well with this newer poly surface than when Turfway first installed it and it was new here in the States.

Between the Kentucky circuit and Woodbine, I'd say Woodbine is a little more predictable even though many of the horses have run on three different dirt/poly tracks this season. So far I haven't seen any significant changes in running styles of the horses so predictive paces produce productive races.

One of the difference is
Hi. One major difference is that the turf horses can run on it and win. Now the Turf horses will have an advantage over the dirt horses.

Remember the question, "How are you doing" meaning betting these tracks. My consideration is these tracks have just super turf, and the stock is above the minor bullrings. The data from the poll will show some interesting things here like, how many do well with the change to different surface, how many maybe dislike, and how many are just have it my way kids and refuse to say anything meaningfull.

Keeneland Poly:
I started out terrible. Couldn't hit the side of a barn there for the first week. Lost consistently. Then started looking at result charts and noticed running style patterns that the winners were using to actually win the race. Took about a hour's work to do on the first week's races. Week 2 I started focusing and betting on fast horses who showed these similar running style patterns in their pp's. Started winning consistently. I have bet Keeneland every day except one so far. Woodbine Poly: Have't played there except for 1 day where I went 1 for 3 ( $ 11.60). Really can't comment too much there Rich

Poly Crap
In giving it deep thought, what I liked about Ky. racing was field size, quality, turf, and in general having a middle track. To explain the last is to say I start a very early east coast track have a middle track and also a late track and expect maiden races that have 3 or more first time starters to be races not played in all tracks. At first when turfway switched to poly I would knock my head against the wall thinking I could figure how to beat it. That was the first year there, today I am more honest with myself that racing at Turfway was never superb or even close to it. Keenland on the other hand has a faster surface and its stock is much better. To run with the real men who train these horses you either have to do things right and have stock that is worthy and do things correctly or you will be relagated to turfway.
