Greetings All,
I'm intrigued by the #4 Ironton trained by Lake who is a need the lead type. The early pace advantage is clear, but the 6 month layoff and the class of this field are the leading question marks against. In my printout below, you can see the P1 line score which is a composite of the Sartin calculations has him rated 3rd. I would accept a win bet at a price close to or above the M/L of 4-1. First out of the chute and dangerous should be #8 Diamonds in Style. The return to longer sprints after the short tune up leaves him the other part of the early pace. The class of this field and the horse with the best speed ratings projects to be the #2 Anthony J. who likes to win from way off the pace when a hot pace develops. He hasn't been able to do that on sprints, however the 7f might help him if the #8 and #4 fight early. I'm dismissing the #5 who is facing older and cuts back. His running style puts him competitive with the #2 who I favor for the price. I'd also consider the #7 Charming Jim who is 3-0-3 in 9 starts at LRL and seems to like to close in sprints and appears very sharp. I don't think you'll get anywhere near the 15-1 M/L. Its win bets on #4 & #2 value permitting, an exacta box of 2,4,8 and a tri box of 2,4,8,7. Regards, Richard Rosa |

I won't be participating this week as I don't play in the same thread with a software who has ripped off Doc's e/l graph among other things. The only software to have done this so far. No tribute to Doc. No passing on down of the codes. Just a plain old fashioned " rip". PASS Richie " a man who stands for everything stands for nothing." - My Dad

50% on #8 Diamonds In Style who could win this wire-to-wire.
50% on #7 Charming Jim who is a horse for course with a huge TPR edge. Hard to believe they're both 15-1 MLO! |
