Entropy-Thoromation demo

Race 9 Parx 5/27/14

Here is a race demo using Entropy phase 1 and Thoromation
The distance of this race is 8.3 furlongs the track was fast
here are my pace lines and contenders

I have 2 lines for horse 2. Line 1 is better on total energy
Line 1 has the line as sustained energy and Line 2 as early energy.
My Parx 8.3 distance model says favor E or EP energy on the whole but my model show a strong swing to sus and sp lately
13 out of my last 20 races and 12 of the last 16 have been won by OTE energy So I will look close at horse 2 and 3.

POR is the average pace of race for the winner of the last two years at Parx for horses going 8.3 furlongs.

I don't use the auto projector if all the horses run routes in these 8.3 distance races.
The reason is the auto projector changes every horse to a 8.5 distance
They run very few 8.5 distance races at Parx compared to 8.0 and 8.3
or 1 mile 70 yards .
These are better routes as the POR total energy is 155.68
and all these are higher than Par

Now I will check the phase 1 readouts

Line 1 for horse 2 is the better line on TPR
I will take out line 2. Now I also will get rid of the POR as I can see these horses are better than par.

Now I have only 4 horses Thoromation works best with 3 or 4 horses
I usually have 5 or 6 horses after phase 1
There are deceleration pars that can be kept to eliminate that 5th horse
but we don't need to do that here.

Next I will show thoromation

The 2 adjust red flag pops up so yes I will use the 2 adjust.
I agree that these 4 horses are true contenders.

The SP preplay comes up first which supports my current model
of a OTE winner

Bill,

If there's no longer an RDSS 'export' feature to Energy/Thoromation,can you input the adjusted figures to EXDC/Thoromation? And w/the adjusted figures, there must be no need to use the #2 Adjustment because all lines are equalized, normalized and adjusted even if there are is more than 2 points in Total Energy from high to low?

Hi Ray

You can still import from RDSS2 either the original or adjusted readouts
You just can't send the lines to the 4 call programs -- yet I have my fingers crossed
that Ted will have this feature someday

I suppose you can enter the adjusted numbers and avoid the 2 adjust question.
For me its not a issue to use the original lines with Entropy.
Entropy uses no DTV or track to track adjustments
By the time the red flag pops up on Entropy and Thoromation I have looked at many other screens and I am sure my horses are true contenders. So is just a matter of
hitting the 1 or 2 button/key. I am using the program the way it was intended to be used I am wary of using the adjusted numbers .

Export to older 4 call programs is in the next RDSS release.

BTW Ray, When I hand entered the Adjusted lines the 2 adjust warning still
comes up. The total energy differential was more the 2 points
So I will just use the original lines

I can see that huge gleam on Bill's face when Ted posted about the ability to export to older programs on the next release of Rdss... Great news, indeed!!

Now, where did I put that wish list that I had been compiling?
