Match Up Apprentice Report

Plenty more Match Up practice is needed , but thought i'd let people know how my Match Up Apprentichship is going so far

June 25th - July 14th

98 Bets placed @ £2.00 - 40 wins

Average odds 5.2 (decimal)

Profit and loss + £59.23 ( 118 USD)

Long way to go, but not bad at all imo

Great results. Just a few questions. Are you using raw times? Are you using software? Are you betting one horse to win? Are you specializing, that is only betting certain types of races or tracks?

Thanks.

Hi Turbulator

Raw Times used in Match Up to eliminate and identify the contenders

RDSS

Betting two the majority of the time, however i have bet only one on a couple of occasion when i was very confident and on the odd occasion bet three

Claiming and Allowance

Tracks played so far are Belmont, Monmouth, Presque Isle, Philly and Praire Meadows

Still a nice job. Did you mix dirt and turf? Poly?

Thanks again.

Turbulator

For practice of the Match Up, i thought it best to focus on Dirt races first of all and as my Match Up confidence grew, decided to try a bit of Tapeta racing

Next move will probably be to give Del Mar and poly a go

Thumbs up

Absolutely tremendous work Charlie!

Jim has got to be reading your post and just loving it. One horse betting, two horse betting whatever. It was ALL good at least from Hat's perspective. He told Bill this when he stayed with Jim in Tulsa. Bill will tell you more.

In addition you are a tremendous addition to P&C as well as MikesAl and others. You give back to the site by posting up ideas, feedback etc etc. Exactly what Bill wanted when he started the site. Both of you could have just "taken what you needed" and ran.

Congratulations, stay focused and good matching!
