Belmont Undercard Saturday
As usual on Belmont Day the undercard looks very competitive. If you like Turf you have some good races to look at. 3 Grade 1's and 3 Grade 2's.

Belmont Card Saturday Impressions
Although this does really pertain to the Sartin Methodology after looking at some of the entries in the Graded races and researching through past charts of some races I have some first impressions about some of the races.
Belmont Stakes: I will call this the Peter Principle. Sunriver exits out of the Peter Pan and can win fresh here. Reminds me when Colonial Affair did the same thing with Julie Krone riding. Manhattan Handicap: I think Grey Swallow is a monster in this race. True North Handicap: Without the presence of Kazoo or Gaff in this race I like Spanish Chestnut on the front end. Just a Game Handicap: Gorella has been facing males all along. Goes against her own. No English Channel, or Cacique in this race. Also a mile is her best distance. I would call this a significant class drop for her. |
