Matchers Forum Help Race

I got a little time today and remembered a race from a month ago at PARX. Cheap claimers. Short field of 6 horses. Here are the PP's:

Analysis of the race

I have marked the running styles of the contenders.

The 5 and 6 were in a tandem race which I decided to use as the projected pace of the race. It is 24.3 48.9 1:14.2 1:45.1 (adjusted final time to 8.5 furlongs).

I determined that the 4 was not a contender and the 5 failed off the tandem race. My contenders and their lines appear below.

I determined the race was going to run early which eliminated the 1 and the 6. This left the 2 and 3 who wer both rated off 7 furlong races. I thought the 3 would be in front of the 2 as the early positions in their running lines show.

The 3 was my bet. The chart appears below.

The pace was a bit slower than I thought. The 3 wired the field.
