Why thank you Pete! The weather appears to be thankfully balmy this weekend in my small town (for a change), the pumpkins are beckoning and the turkeys are fleeing (literally - I nearly ran over one on the road last week).

Should be a great weekend for a walk in the northern woods, all the while counting my many blessings.

Thank you - I am actually about a 30 minute drive to Ted's place.

I am up here at the cottage with my family, and the weather is perfect. A great day for a walk, ride, or good book and a drink.

Hey Jon,

Happy Thanksgiving! Sounds like the weather over by Bala was about as nice as south of Dorset, where Alison and I went hiking in the woods at the Frost Centre this afternoon. Indeed a lovely day to spend with family, and especially the beautiful nature in this part of the country!

I'd invite you over or meet for a drink somewhere, but I'm leaving for 2 weeks on Monday so I've got a bunch of things to do tomorrow.

Soon, though. (We and your Dad need to catch up with Alan P. while he's still alive!)
