the chalk, #5, is a horse stretching out for its 2nd lifetime start; and will be loose

the best horse in the race appears to be the 1; hasn't run since 5/09.

I'm almost tempted to bet the 1 but not at 3:1 (present odds).

Plenty of speed in this race; should favor closers.

#4, 1st time off the claim for Asmussen, should be very tough. I like the #7 almost equally. Both should get a nice trip behind the speed. I'm also intrigued by the 1, who didn't fire going 6.5F last out and also figures to get a nice inside trip just behind the speed.

hard to try to beat the JUICE horse, #6. I like the 7, Civil Code. (And #2, Dublin Lane, after that.)

Actually, there was value, if only I'd bet this race the way I wanted to. This is what happens when there's a superjuicer trainer in the race.
