Best Practices

As a new viewer to the group I have been impressed with both the quality and the quantity of information and tools available. Matter of fact I am having trouble knowing where to start.

So I was hoping that I could get some tutoring in this arena.

For starters: Paceline Selection; Non-Contender Elimination; and Read-Out Interpretation................and then, how this might be tweaked from track to track, by surface (e.g. Dirt vs Turf vs All-weather), or by Maiden vs older, etc.

"I need to put a bit in the mouth of this runnaway horse."

Fairways & Greens,

Procefus

P.S. What about this thing called "Matchup"? and "Visual Matchup"?

Where I started

The match-up is what has helped me pick more winners and eliminate non-contenders more than anything else I've worked with. I do use RDSS, but make my eliminations via the match-up then review all the useful tools contained within the software.

I'd say start in the "Hat Check" section and commit the "5 step approach" to memory.

Chris,

Thank you for your comments and direction. I will check out the Hat Section and the 5 Step Approach.
