Food for Thought

I came across this in a book I was rereading by Joe Takach and it seemed to be applicable to this site.Probably hardly anyone will respond so I just might be wasting my time.

Methodology by itself is meaningless.Methodology in motion is everything.Too many good handicappers spend too much time thinking about their methodology rather than implementing it.Methodology by it's very nature should be flexable and in a state of constant change.Discarding unworkable axioms of the past is the key to unlocking the winning strategies of the future. The game changes constantly.Updating, reworking and rethinking specific situations guarantees longevity playing.Stagnation is never tolerated.
