Same thing; top choice only. You don't have to worry about going deep. Of course you pass a lot of races when you're only playing your top pick as an overlay, but so it goes. You can't have it both ways.

David, The problem I have is that Synergism doesnt have a bl\bl so should I just go by morning line?Thanks for the suggestions though.Jeff

Jeff,

If you're going to go that route, then you need to make your own Fair Odds line. Don't use the BL/BL odds lines. They are utter nonsense in terms of reflecting the horse's probability of winning. The merit in them is only in comparing your own horses against each other, like a Line Score. To think you can use those lines and bet against the toteboard is folly. Don't ever do that; you'll get crushed.

If you'd like to read more about making your own Fair Odds lines (although it isn't necessary to use the methodolgy successfully), Mark Cramer and Barry Meadow are both good sources.
