Racing Secretaries at all tracks card races to provide State Bred horses frequent opportunities to win. Unless your track is located in Kentucky, FLa, Cal or NY, chances are that races restricted State BRED or Foaled are likely to rank below the overall quality of open Races.

EXAMPLE: 9th RACE HAwthorne 1-06-08 MS 4+ $26.000
CONDITONSl FOR ILLINOIS REGISTERED,CONCEIVED,AND/OR FOALED. MAIDEN FILLIES AND MARES FOUR YEARS OLD and UPWARD

WINNER #9 SHE's A TOUGH CAT $17.40 8.40 4.80

pp9 St 6 1/4 8 1/2 7 str 4 fin 1st by 2

DROPPING FROM MSW OPEN 31 DAYS AGO, WITH A 4F BLOWOUT 7 DAYS AGO
In last race she was close up thru the 1st 3 calls finishing 2.2 lenghts behind the winner in 3rd position.

Sometimes its more fun just knowing the conditons than crunching numbers.

Cheers,

You got it. And it holds so true today. Overlooked and not understood by the masses, makes me love it. And it repeats over and over.

Cheers for those who do! See ya at the window.
