Could someone please point me in the direction of explaining the RX Betting Line to me? Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

I'm far from an expert with RDSS but with the help of Bill V. Tim For the lead,Mitch and of course Ted and a few others,I have been doing quite well with the program. I am still having problems passing some races but I am constantly working at it.
My test sample is now over 90 races that I handicapped using Rdss.2 I still can't seem to rely on RX as a final rating to base my 2 win horses on. BLBL and VDC are my final choice seperator's. I don't always bet my top 2 tier horses, depending also on odds, lone early or late, and in sprints % median(i have never in all sprints,at the tracks I play the most, anything over 70.00% median win So in 92 races,BLBL had the top 2 in 68 races. Now I didn't always bet those top 2 but that's what the program showed RX3 had the winner in the top 2 only 32 times. What I did find was that if both readouts had 1 and sometimes both identical top 2,the results were even better(sorry but I failed to keep written notes on this) The tracks were Belmont,Gulfstream and a few from Woodbine and Par Both routes and sprints were used and also Maiden races with no or maybe 1 first time starters. I know this is sketchy and I will improve on the record keeping as I go along Papa John |

Hi John. That's pretty impressive having the winner in the top 2 bl/bl 74%. Remember it's your choice of what 2 to bet and not to bet the program top 2 blindly. The RX3 number seems a little bit low. It's always a nice confirmation when both screens agree. It looks like you should stick with the BL/BL screen for your wagering decisions since trying to use both can be confusing especially when there is vast difference in tier rankings. After completing numerous 20 race cycles I have gone back to using the BL/BL screen for my wagering decisions.
Tim

Papa John..
Wow,
Great results, and great record keeping. The RX is my final piece after I use the BL/BL. I find it helpful in exotics and winners. Happy Punting!! Jon |
