Belmont 6/1 race 6

This is an example in which I think that the favorite will not win. He is at very low odds, being overbet in my opinion. and that makes the other contenders higher odds than they should be. I will go with the 2 and the 8 to win. An exacta box of 2,3,5,8. Add the 11 in trifecta boxes.

Hi Charlie

I'm sorry I got in late. I'm not trying to show a low price favorite
I just see lots of horses being rated that make the 5 seem not as strong

I wanted to see how the 5 rates against FTL's contender guidelines
(although he does not bet turf )

I thought that #2 would run well because she was making her third start off a layoff. Thus I did not mind going back to line 6 where she ran well against a faster pace. I thought that the pace would be slower than it was and Shakeira had a tough race last time out in a similiar pace scenario. I figured she would bounce off that race.
