Southern Tracks

Any one have recommendations for tracks in the South that are worth looking at? Looking for some place to go to in the dead of Winter (from the comfort of my cozy abode).

Weather has been crazy here. A few days ago we were in the teens and now we have about 6 inches of snow. More like January weather.

Fair Grounds is the "southern track" I look forward to every year. It's a historic place, IMO one of the top three in the country in that regard.

Hey Segs, if you decide to play FG this weekend let me know. Maybe we can collaborate and add to the fun that way.

Gulfstream is also a good track in the winter.

Tampa And OakLawn

These two tracks have always been popular here at Pace and Cap

Tampa and Oaklawn are the best for me. I like Fairgrounds but would warn that there can exist some profound track bias there.

Tom,

If there's a profound track bias at FG - i.e. profound enough that you can spot it - isn't that a good thing? Then play to the bias ...?
