Have you ever wanted to say okay enough already!!!
Here is my Contest races for PA pick 4 Aqu late pick 4 races and yet I did not even come close and yet somehow I should have nailed it , so why did I not have it hammered, no ego here, but it seems my wagerig skills are still not where they should be, apparently.
here are my picks $3 Pick-4: 3,7,8,9,12 // 4,8 // 2,4 // 1,9,12 Bets: 60 Total: $180 $5 Pick-4: 8 // 4,8 // 4 // 1,9 Bets: 4 Total: $20 And the results were $2 Pick 4 8/11/14-3-6-4/6/8 (4 correct) 8 / 3 / 6 / 8 So very simple and yet look at my RDSS capping and tell me how I missed it, not using the 3rd rated horse at all is my guess, never hid 1 single horse this time, but should I have, Not this time I think thanks all patrick 441.50

Okay the 3 had the best works a 120 , and many of them over the avg 3 fur and the 7 is dropping down and was kinda in the hunt last out, but faded, so this type of race I left him in.
Normally this race is a pass, but with the contest we play all we can and hope for the best, sometimes. Hope I answered your question Mike patrick

In this pastime the numbers, figures, software and misinformation can be your worst enemy. Unfortunately, we are all for the most part, forced to rely on them because that's all we have.. One can never account for all the hidden variables and unforseen things that are present in so many of the races. The game is and always has been about value. It's a percentage game. Weather, short fields, poor race quality, improper bets and lack of discipline will lead you down a path of destruction. The game is an arduous grind and takes an enormous amount of patience and may not be worth the possible rewards you may achieve for the time invested if you are a diligent and highly disciplined player. My guess would be that less then 3% of those that play the game fall into the category of being a consistent and meaningful winner. I know it's a hard pill to swallow but that's the facts Jack. I am not using real money here, just my pride in picking, and yet again the program had the horses all in the top 3-4 BL/BL , Top 3 I think, and yet I did not wager properly to get a win for this day, when I should have, except for inadequate wagering, do you agree? No beat up here, as early no real ego to hurt, just trying to better myself with better wagering idea's, should I have hidden any plays today as I did last week and lost then too? Congrats to you in this contest Sir Happy Holidays Patrick

There is no sense in worrying about one series of races. Sometimes in a effort to get value, we all reach (or hide) horses that maybe we should not have.
I don't have this card and overall your line selections look good. Except for the last leg, myself I avoid using turf lines for dirt races. If I have to use those I discount their worth in the readouts. |

Aqu contest
I have played this contest every week end since it started and up until today I could not put 3 winners on a ticket. I got lucky today and hit the early pic 4 on an 8.00 play.
I feel that handicapping alone is not the only requirement. You have to have a little luck also. Do not beat yourself up when you make an error in judgement or leave a winner off a ticket. Picking 4 winners in a row (at least for me) is pretty hard when you consider the type of races that are being run in this or any contest. I rarely ever find 3 races in a row that are playable let alone 4. I wish all the players the best of luck in this contest. |

Thank you Sir

Hi Patrick, You did very well in having the contenders in all of the races. RDSS is an excellent piece of software in that regard. The problem that I find and you may have found as well is splitting these contenders and coming up with the single pick winner. I've have said and will say again that an automated pace projector similar to "the dream race projection" would be a helpful feature for isolating the type of horse that can win in a given race. Pace projection gives one an idea of what type of running style fits a specific race and helps the handicapper narrow down his choices. |

Patrick, I am like you as I am only playing for ego and have not bet a single dime on a pic 4. I find it hard enough to just get one good priced winner in a PLAYABLE race.
Good Luck in the contest. PS. Ted has another nice looking contest posted that looks very exciting. |
