what a sad way to hit....

the exacta. anyone see the 9th @ tdn on Monday? i was at the meadows in the sports book capping races, while the wife is playing slots. i bet the 7-9 in win bets and made a ex box w/ 7-9. the 1 was a 4/5 fav. and i didn't even play 1/over etc. no value. the 1 takes the lead and is blowing the field away like a 4/5 when the 1 @ the 16th pole or so breaks down looses the jockey and the 9 finishes 1st the 7 just gets up for place. a sad one but it paid $12+ and 108.80. oh well it happens.
