Saturday Tampa 10th-Different Approach

I thought this is an interesting race for tomorrow. But I wanted to try something different and you can chime in with your selections as well.I am going to put up screens from Val I am making no selections here.I would like for you to analyize my screens and tell me how you would approach this race.I will put my picks later,I feel this will really help me a lot using Val3.I sure am thankful to Bill for teaching me how to use screenhunter it's a lot easier to use this way.Jeff

My view

Hi Jeff

ok first off lets forget about paceline selection
for now. I see many horses with what I consider good lines That you omitted
and also lines you used that I would not

Anyway If I agreed with your lines
the first thing I would do is note that horses 2 and 7 are wild early
onthe late Early

Next I would go to the 3 screen

Hides

Ok First thing I would do is hide to the top 5 Total Energy
and Primary line score

so Im going to hide the 5 and the 6
the 5 is 7 total Energy and 6 PLS and the 6 is the counter energy but its
6 Total Energy and 7 PLS also its Speed rating is a 83 in a race with 3 horses over with speed ratings over 91

Now I have my contenders

Wow Jeff you picked a wild race
The 7 with that 7.0 line from Kee
will have a wild early on the Late/Early
also with a 96 speed rating and a balance of 6
looks like my choice between the top 2 Tiers

Binder,That's good I wanted an opinion based on my pacelines. What else would you do this would be good as well like a step by step approach.Even though you have done it in the past a little refresher course wouldnt hurt.Besides some new people are on board as well that may not be familiar.Jeff

Now for the picks

So far its the 7
now I would check the 9,2,and 3, for improvement
on V/Dc FROM THE 7 SCREEN
Here I like what I see from the 9 (you went to line 7)
but the Imrovement on VDC make it a win bet
Now I remember about the wild early sticks for the 2 and the 7 right?
So who is my CE now? Its the 10

My win bets are 7 and 9
and I will make a exacta box
10 with the 7/9 boxed

Bill,I thought this would be a wild one that's why I picked it.I would be interested after you finished mine to see how you would do with your own pacelines.Jeff

Bill,I went to line 9 on the 7 because that was the last race comparable to this one I try to avoid putting distance races in sprints. But I might have made a mistake with horse 3 using line 9 instead of 8.In that race he beat the 9 and set a track record doing so.That's the reason I went so far back on the 3, running at Tampa he has 10 starts and has won 7 of them.Jeff
