Miss Goodbody

Hi

I just want to share with you something i'm doing
As I'm tied up at work in a stuck (for now )
dead end job. I found I was always being too tired to do much else
I looked at myself in the mirror and said Its time to get in shape
and eat better.

I started just walking, When ever I could I would walk. This alone made me feel much better. Soon I changed my diet
which for me being alone on the road was tough, I have lived
on fast food for years
The walking got my head into watching my weight
and cutting down on fat
The walking has now turned into going to the gym
anyway I feel 100% better and I am not run down
I amm really enjoying what I'm doing here

It all sarted just by walking

Thanks
Bill

Keep it up, Bill! Our goal is to hang around the planet as long as we can and we have to take care of ourselves to do that. Take the ipod along and listen to those tapes!

How funny ! I really do that !!!
Everyone at the gym has earphones on and Ipods playing
I kind of think I'm the only person listening to
Paceline audio tapes and Kc seminars

Feeling stronger everyday

weight

Bill, being a chef i know food. went to the doctor for a problem and weighted at over 250. i'm 5'7. BP 200/100, tris(bloodwork) and chol 310. and what did i do to get this way? work from 10 am till 9 pm 30 days in a row and stop at wendys, mics and so on and eat burgers. well the bp and chol where a kick in a@#. started to watch my diet, and do the machine. lost 75 lbs. "rarely" red meat, only chicken, pork loins or tenderloins(less fat) turkey ground meat for burgers, meatloaf and pasta w/ meat sauce, salmon, cod, tuna(rare) etc.. it helps. but i have to exercise. haven't been able to do the exercise and have put a few back on, but still do not eat that fast food. ya gotta do the exercise

Hi Rverge

You said it. I think diets work to get the pounds off but its the excerise that keeps it off I sat around for years eating lots of fast food
I got so heavy. Now I have stopped . But I have a lot of work to do to get back in shape. Its hard but I really think twice now about what I eat
because of all the work it will take to lose those extra calories.
The excerise is bad while your doing it but you will feel so much better..
Its funny, Because of what I have learned from the methodology
what I look for is to feel better walking out of the track than I did
when I walked in. Well going and doing my workout I feel much better
when I'm done than when I went in. So I don't dread it so much
anymore. You will feel much better Talk to your doctor and get started

Good for you Bill. Don't you find that the more you exercise, the more energy you have. It kind of goes round in a circle.

I have a bad back and fybromyalgia and have to exercise all the time. I really feel it if I miss some days. Listening to the tapes must make the time fly by.

Keep up the good work.

Bill, I walk 3-7 miles per day, and I'm addicted to it. The exercise is good once you get used to it and it becomes a habit.

Eventually, you will feel more guilty not exercising and start looking for excuses to work out.

he really looks fantastic

hi everyone, just a note to say what a difference in my son Bill. He lost about 30 pounds, maybe more, and he looks so healthy. He exercises twice a day even when he's with us on the weekends.
But the best part is, he is so much fun and has such a great attitude.
We are so proud of our son Bill.
If he was one of the apostles, he would be Bill the Greater.
Love, nomorebocci

Thumbs up Way to go Bill!

Bill,

You have inspired me to get back with the diet and excerise program. Thanks for that as well as been an inspiration to me in the handicapping arena.

Thanks,
Bud
