Delaware 8th race 10-2
Richie,
I tried to start a new thread and site won't let me. So I am posting here and hoping you can move it for me. I don't know what the problem is with not able to post new thread. I will do my best to walk through this so it makes sense. First of all, I open my program and download the racecard. Select a race and then get a screen that has all the last racelines for each horse entered. After scratches anyway. First thing I do is look for the early horse. It is #9. His first fraction is not the best, not even 2nd and by his calls he shows he needs a big easy lead to win, so I throw him out immediately and race is now 'other than early'. So I go to the fastest frac 1 time and look at that horse. That's #4....including his position in realation to the ohter horse with same frac time. So I check him and get a power running line for him to start with. The next horse I look at is the 10..terrible running line..he's out. #1 is next. He has next best time....and running line shows he's a fighter. I get a powerline for him. # 3 is the next horse I look at. He has a decent first frac and position is good. So I get a line for him. The rest look terrible. So I am down to three horses. Remember this is other than early. Also with the last horse...a mental note...last 5 races all on turf and now trying the dirt. I can't figure out how to show image, so I will copy my powerlines. 87 ART SHOW 23.31 46.98 70.79 100.25 3- 2.5 3- 4.5 2- 2.5 2- 0.15 90 BUY THE BARREL 23.38 47.24 74.513 104.94 2- 0.15 2- 0.5 2- 0.5 1 81 HEATHERSDADDYSBABY 24.06 47.71 72.22 102.05 2- 0.5 2- 0.15 2- 0.5 2- 0.05 As you can see the first frac for ART and BUY are almost the same. Heather is way off with 24.06....since we are other than early...you can see that BUY has the best 1st call position......and he's a fighter that fought to win his powerline. And so that is how I came up with a $40 winner. Hope this makes sense and helps. I did this same thing with all the races. I followed Richie's instructions laid out in the 8 month update thread. Thank you for the writeup Handi. Not too many folks are willing to "lay it all out" as far as what they did. This is a most welcome change.
The "Hat Check" is a moderated forum as per Jim's request when he came here. That's why when you posted it did not get through. There is a precise order to steps of the matchup that are being shown to folks interested (all FREE btw) in learning that would be thrown off by threads/posts not pertaining to what is being shown. Jim taught me and then asked me to teach others what he has shown me. To do this requires moderation of that area to stay "on course". Nice work and glad you are getting something from the posts there Best of luck Richie
