dmr 08/07 - Pace and Cap

I hope this doesnt appear twice - since somehow it didnt get posted or i cant find it ..lol

ok I'm trying SPECPA for the first time for a full card
I am not using the automatic pace line selection method yet - I can't be totally weened (sp) all at once ... so you may not get anything like the horses I get

Here goes
1: 2-1-3-5
2: 5-4-7
3/4/5 pass
6: is 2yo mdn but wth... it looks like chalk and probably would pass it - but
8-5-6
7: ok my readouts show me Junip(8) will have a comfy lead and it seems to like to win that way - so that is one of my horses - although I might have hid it - doing it by the book.
8-9-7
Also in the 7th Lab the 3 horse looks like the kind of horse that might place. so if odds are good : 8-9/3

8: you have to decide whether Girl will run today after a long layoff... I thought so - so: 8-2-6 with 6 as a nice place horse

9 pass

well remember this is the first time - be gentle ...

Really nice Job Phase !! the race 8 winner # 6 paid $40.40 and $12.40 Place
the $12.40 Place price was bigger than every other win price on the card
except race 4 which you passed

thanks... i know it woulda been a good day if actually bet them, i need to come up with a betting strategy so i can keep score... i know that is a weak point of mine. Right now working on selections.... i was thinking i bet binder would have won more than me using my picks
