We just got back from visiting San Diego, we were gone for almost a month.
Our daughter lives about 40 minutes from Del Mar, and she gave Brooks a Del Mar hat and also a history of the race track.
Can't wait to go back when there's live racing there.
We left the beautiful sunshine at the beach there and got back to a dreadful nor'easter here today. But we're glad to be back with our dear son Bill.

Glad you enjoyed your vacation in Southern Cal. We have had wierd weather here, but can't complain when many of the states are having such a horrendous winter. Del Mar is a fun track to go to and I hope you have a chance to come back someday. You have to be very proud of what Bill has accomplished here. Best of Health to You and Brooks!

yes, Emilio, Southern California is really very beautiful. The San Diego area especially. There are beautiful harbors and bays, and the Pacific Ocean always has surfers..any hour of the day they are out there. The weather is mild and there are flowers and palm trees everywhere.
That's the good part. The bad part is it's very crowded everywhere, there's lots of traffic at all times, and everything is very very expensive.

We will stay in NJ. My two sons live here and my husband would not leave his home state for anything. Love, Mrs. V.
