Bill, your post with ValM made me feel OK to post showing RDSS. (Forego, I hope this is OK - it's your Energy topic...)

My Match Up analysis made 12 and 4 the Earlies, but 12 appears to blow away the 4. The 7 seems like a counter-energy candidate, while the 10's Sustained running style and top Energy would seem to put it right there if the 12 works too hard on the lead or needs a race after the layoff.

Actually, I'd appreciate any insight from anyone as to why the 4 might be a survivor as an Early (or if indeed he should be expected to run as such, i.e. off his last route line).

Without regards to odds offered, I'd go with 12 and 10 as win contenders and 7 to place.

Ted

In a field loaded with off the pace types I would agree that 12 should get lead, but I think his faint heart will be pressured by the only other near presser, the 7. [the other reason I can't back 12 is to win he'd have to run his life best again where there was little pressure. too much to ask, IMO.] However, 7 is 1/17 lifetime with 4 places and 6 shows, so he has pretty much phoned is his dislike to winning. That leaves the 10 and the 4, in that order, with the 10 being closer to the lead. I'll take the 10/4 on top of 10/4/7

Agree with Bill

After looking at the pp's for this race I would have to agree with Bill Lyster on this race. I like #10 Top One after looking at several screenshots that have already been posted.

In addition I like the fact that this horse is wheeling back in 12 days. Last raced January 20th in which this horse beat older horses. This race is restricted to 4 year olds. This early in the year some horses are closer to 3 than 4. These facts have nothing to do with the Match-Up, but sometimes this information comes in handy. Also agree with Ted and Binder's screenshots on this one. Should be an interesting race.

RDSS Screenshots

Ted, it looks like you have come up with something new in RDSS. The Match-Up screen looks good. Incremental Match-Up screen reminds me a bit of the Thoromation screen.

Time for me to start looking for a XP machine. RDSS has really come a long way since you first started showing it.
