Nashua, Barbaro, this steroid induced clown Big Brown, and to some extent Hard Spun, all are characteristic of horses that do not fit into the pace evaluation of the Sartin Methodology.

These horses run "just enough" to stay in front and usually cannot be categorized into a running style.

POSITIONAL FRONT RUNNERS are rare, but are actual entities.
