#4 looks like a dominant Tier 1 favorite based on the corollaries, while #1A is the dominant Tier 2 horse. Considering that their lines were extracted from a fast tandem race, this is to be expected. If you feel that those two runners are your likely winners, you make your decisions accordingly. Any value in this race may come from Tier 3 and Tier 4. Remember on #2, we excused its tandem finish against #4/#1A due to the layoff. It is the 3rd ranked TPR horse in the field. It is 10-1 ML. It is the Tier 4 horse. #8 has a win over an off-track and is rising up in class off a win/claim.

As mentioned previously, the weather is iffy down there today, and we haven't gotten scratches in as of yet. This could very well be a 9-horse field scratched down to a 5-horse field of puke within the hour... or the race could be left intact. Crazier things have happened at Parx.
