I have no experience with DOS programs, but according to Ted in the other thread, it is possible through Windows 8.X and the upcoming Windows 10. The Asus Vivotab comes with Windows 8.1 with a free future upgrade of Windows 10.
You should be good to go with any tablet running Windows 8.X or higher.
