Note for RDSS users upgrading from the older RDSS 2.06:

When you install RDSS 2.1, it installs in a separate folder: c:\rdss2.1. You can run it at the same time as the older RDSS 2.06, using the same TrackMaster download files and the same database(s).

Your older RDSS2.06 is likely installed in c:\rdss2. Your database(s) are thus likely to be stored in c:\rdss2\Data\ folder. RDSS 2.1 will automatically open with the same current database used by RDSS2.06. Just be aware of where the database is located (c:\rdss2\Data\ folder).

If you are installing RDSS2.1 on a computer where you have never used RDSS2.06 before, it will start off using its OWN folder as storage for the database (c:\rdss2.1\Data\).

Currently, when installed, RDSS 2.1 seems to 'take over' the existing Desktop RDSS Icon, thus you'll have to create a new one to continue using the older RDSS2.06. Open your file manager, navigate to c:\rdss2 folder, find the Application RDSS2.EXE, right-click it then choose Send To, then Desktop (create shortcut). Now you'll have 2 RDSS Desktop Icons, one for the older version and one for the newer version. Rename each Icon so you know which is which.
