Hi Mick
I had the great honor to see Sir Paul live in about 2008 or so.
I saw him and his band at the Continental Arirlines arena
in New Jersey right next to the Meadowlands and what is now Metlife Satidum.
Paul put on a incredible show, I never was a fan, I thought he was just a pretty boy. John George and Ringo to me were the heart and soul of the Beatles.
After the show seeing him live I started to appreciate his incredible talent.
I don't know if you have ever seen the movie Nowhere Boy.
Its the story of John Lennon as a teenager, and as the Beatles were first
starting out, In the movie we see also a very young Paul and already he
shows his wide range of musical talents.
Jimi Hendrix might not have played Shea Stadium but he does have a history at Forrest Hills stadium which is right next to the stadium
In 1967 he was on tour with of all people, The Monkeys. needless to say
it was not a good mix.
One of my favorite songs
Hey Joe "live"
