Interesting race. Thanks for posting it Pete. There are a few too many unknowns (particularly regarding early pace) for me. I will probably pass. But, I'll render an opinion here.

There are several tandems with the 24 48 1;12.2 involving the 4, 12 and 13 being the fastest.

Speed:

6: Sprinting at FE
2: Might be part of pace.
11: Not a fighter and not good recently. I think he'll get the lead in 24.3 (bottom line on grass)

Pace: I think it will go very much like the 3's race three back in 24.3 49 1:13 1:45.2

1 Slow Out
1A Also eligible Slow Out
2 Might be part of pace. That turf track at MNR is very fast.
3 Solid OTE 3 and four back against probable pace. Contender.
4 Didn't handle fast tandem. Out
5 2 good OTE 3 and 9 races back. Contender.
6 Out. Early printer in route.
7 Very few good races. Last two trouble at start. Last is unfair start whatever that means. Can handle 24.3 3 back. Contender.
8 Slow. Out.
9 Bad poly. Out.
10 Out.
11 E. Last two very poor. Out. Lead in 24.3.
12 Good OTE Power Moves. Ran well in fast tandem. Contender.
13 2nd position type horse. Won fast tandem. Loses ground between 1st and 2nd call. Not right style for this race. Out.
14 Very late. Out.

I think it will run OTE. I am left with the 3,5,7, and 12. I am going to pick two horses here. The 12 from the fast tandem and the 3 because I like the power moves with a bit of fight at the end.
