Race 5

Horse 10: This is why getting the running style right is so important. I checked off the 10 horse as an S expecting him to join the leaders at the stretch. He actually joined the early horses at the gate and stayed with them until the 5 other real late horses passed him close to the finish. Finished 6th. This was only the second race this cycle where I did not have the winner in my final contenders.

Race 7

Horse 3: Came from 2 lengths behind in the stretch to win by 2. Everyone else in the park knew it was going to happen. Paid $4.20. ML was 5/2.
